Process
How LendCap works
One transaction, two sides. Here is what happens on each of them.
LendCap assesses business-purpose funding applications and presents suitable opportunities to registered lenders, who decide individually whether to participate. Where an opportunity is fully funded and documentation is complete, settlement occurs and repayments follow the loan agreement, subject to default, collection and capital-loss risk.
Lender journey
- 1Register and complete identity and anti-money-laundering verification.
- 2Review opportunities and the formal offer material in the secure platform.
- 3Decide whether to participate in a specific opportunity: there is no obligation to participate in any of them.
- 4If the opportunity is fully funded and documentation is complete, settlement occurs.
- 5Receive repayments and interest per the loan terms, subject to tax, fees, default and collection risk.
Borrower journey
- 1Submit a business-purpose funding application through the secure platform.
- 2LendCap assesses the purpose, borrower information and proposed security.
- 3If suitable, an offer is prepared and presented to eligible registered lenders.
- 4If the offer is funded and documentation is complete, settlement occurs.
- 5Make repayments under the loan agreement, with monitoring and collections as set out in the formal documents.
