Indicative lending criteria
The criteria below are indicative only. Every application is assessed deal by deal and criteria may change. Lending criteria apply.
Borrower entities
Applications are accepted from companies and trusts. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Loan purpose
Lending is for business, investment and asset finance purposes. LendCap does not provide consumer lending, and loans sit outside the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Loan size
Loan size: indicatively $50,000 to $2,000,000, though every deal is considered on its own merits regardless of size. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Security
Residential, commercial and rural property may be offered as security, by way of first or second mortgages. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Loan-to-value
Indicatively up to 75% for residential property, 65% for commercial property, and 50% for land and rural property. These limits are flexible depending on the strength of the deal and the exit position. All loan-to-value criteria are indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Term
Indicatively 3 to 24 months. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Interest
Interest may be paid monthly, or prepaid and capitalised. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
Fees and rates
An establishment fee applies on approval. Rates depend on the security offered, its location, the borrower profile and the exit strategy, and are confirmed in writing during assessment. This is indicative, assessed per deal, and subject to change.
