Advisers & Referrers
Non-bank broking
A separate broking service for when the right lender sits outside LendCap's peer-to-peer investor network.
How it works
Where a deal is not one LendCap places with its own investor network, LendCap can look for a lender in the non-bank market. The adviser keeps the client relationship, LendCap manages the lender, and if the deal settles the broker fee is shared with the adviser.
- 1. Tell us the scenario
Send a short, non-identifying outline of the transaction, the security and what the borrower needs.
- 2. We assess and reply with options
We review the deal against our non-bank lender panel and come back with the options we think may fit.
- 3. You present the options and your client decides
The adviser keeps the client relationship. You walk your client through the options and they decide whether to proceed.
- 4. We handle the lender from application to settlement
If your client proceeds, LendCap manages the lender relationship, documentation and settlement process.
- 5. If it settles, we share the fee
On settlement, the broker fee is shared with the adviser. The typical split is 1–2% of the loan amount, depending on the transaction.
What to send us
The fastest way to get an indicative view is to send a short outline covering:
- The borrower entity
- The security address and property type
- Current and proposed lending
- The loan purpose
- The exit strategy: how the loan will be repaid
A separate service
This non-bank broking service is separate from LendCap's licensed peer-to-peer lending service. It is not offered to retail investors and does not involve LendCap's registered lender network. Each transaction is assessed on its own merits and terms are confirmed in writing before proceeding.
